<aside> 💡 If you have a conflict with a co-worker, manager or leader and you feel that you cannot solve it directly with the person, speak with the People team. We will guide you for next steps to take and, if necessary, mediate or help raise a formal complaint.

A grievance is a concern, problem or complaint that you may have about your work, workplace or a colleague you work with — including management. This also includes if you feel you are being discriminated against in the workplace.

We take all grievances extremely seriously and will treat them fairly, consistently and confidentially. If you have a grievance but are unsure of what to do, you can speak with the People team as a first step and we will help you.

While we hope you never have to use the grievance process, we've created the policies below so you can be comfortable knowing we have the appropriate steps in place if this happens.

While we must have separate grievance policies in order to be legally compliant with both British and Latvian employment law, the why behind these policies is the same and we aim to keep differences between them to a minimum.
